When Baz Luhrmann made his 2022 biopic Elvis it was an absolutely massive hit.

Tom Hanks did a great job as Colonel Tom Parker, Austin Butler did an even better one as Elvis Presley, but you can't really beat the real thing.

And as it goes, while the director was researching for the project, he unearthed 68 boxes of 35mm and 8mm Elvis footage in the Warner Bros. film archives within salt mines in Kansas.

After years of painstaking work to sync this silent footage with existing audio sources and also using a newly found 45 minute audio interview with The King, Baz has now put together a film like no other: EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert.

Part documentary, part concert film, the movie had its official premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025.

Advanced screenings took place on what would have been Elvis's 91st birthday on January 8.

Te first official teaser was released for the film last month, and has now been followed by a full-length trailer.
