One of Pink Floyd's best albums, like you've never heard it before.
Half a century and countless reissues on, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the cupboards must be pretty bare when it comes to previously unreleased Pink Floyd material.
But an upcoming anniversary edition of classic 1975 album Wish You Were Here will feature unheard demos and alternative versions of some the band's greatest songs.
Wish You Were Here - 50th anniversary edition will be available in a wealth of physical formats, the fanciest being the 2CD+4LP+7″+blu-ray super deluxe box set.
For those looking to spend less than the £200+ that will set you back, there are also a 2CD deluxe, 3LP deluxe, single LP ‘flame’ coloured vinyl and standalone blu-ray audio editions, as well as digital formats.
"Wish You Were Here 50 gives fans an exciting new perspective into one of Pink Floyd's most iconic and best-loved records," said the band.
"The 50th anniversary edition features multiple discs of rarities - at the core of this special collection are six previously unreleased alternate versions and demos presenting Pink Floyd's eighth studio album in a brand-new way that demands repeat listening."

Apart from that single vinyl version, all editions will feature the six previously unreleased alternate versions and demos.

Also included are the tracks 'Wine Glasses', 'Have a Cigar (Alternate Version)' and 'Wish You Were Here (featuring Stéphane Grappelli), which were previously available on the 2011 version of Wish You Were Here.

The blu-ray features all the songs in the box set, plus a 2025 Dolby Atmos Mix, 2011 5.1 Surround Mix, 1975 Stereo Mix and 1975 4.0 Quad Mix.
It boasts Pink Floyd's 1975 concert films and Storm Thorgerson’s Short Film, again repeated from the the 2011 release.
What's more, it features the newly-available Live Bootleg, a 16-song set from the Los Angeles Sports Arena recorded by Mike Millard on April 26, 1975, now restored and remastered by Steven Wilson.
Wish You Were Here will be released via Sony Music on December, 12 2025, via Sony Music.
