Glastonbury hosts Rod Stewart, John Fogerty, Gary Numan and The Searchers' farewell.
Glastonbury Festival had a vintage year at the weekend just gone, with a diverse range of acts wowing fans in the sun across its countless stages.
One of the clear highlights was Rod Stewart's Legends Slot appearance on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon, which drew an absolutely massive crowd to see his hits-packed set.
There had been concerns about Rod's performance ahead of time after he was forced to pull out of several shows in the US earlier this month due to ill health, but you wouldn't have known that from his note-perfect delivery once he got to the Pyramid.
And as promised, he also delivered with a number of special guest appearances.
Mick Hucknall, who has performed in Faces in place of Sir Rod on occasion, joined the man himself for 'If You Don't Know Me By Now', a cover of the Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes classic.
Faces man Ronnie Wood later joined Stewart to play the band's 'Stay With Me'. He stuck around for the next song, which saw Lulu duet with Sir Rod on 'Hot Legs'.
And before 'I Don't Want To Talk About It', festival organiser Emily Eavis wheeled her dad, Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis, on stage to soak in the applause and well wishes for his 90th birthday.
The 21-song set closed with 'Sailing', which saw Rod's backing dancers sporting sailor hats and Celtic FC shirts for the finale.
The full Rod Stewart Glastonbury Festival setlist was as follows:
Sir Rod wasn't the only artist rolling back the years over the weekend, with a number of other artists playing their part in making 2025's event such a success.
Straight after Stewart's set, Nile Rodgers delivered banger after banger, playing not just his hits with Chic but also versions of the songs he previously recorded with the likes of David Bowie, Madonna, Sister Sledge and Daft Punk.
Nearly half a century into his career, Gary Numan made his Glastonbury debut on the Park Stage on Saturday, with his set including 'Cars', 'M.E.', 'Metal', 'Down in the Park' and 'Are 'Friends' Electric?'.
He also duetted with his daughter Raven on her song 'Nothing's What It Seems' and on his own 'My Name is Ruin' with another of his daughters, Persia.
That was the same day John Fogerty played the Pyramid Stage, with a set absolutely dominated by his hits with former band Creedence Clearwater Revival, closing with the three-song run of 'Fortunate Son', 'Bad Moon Rising' and 'Proud Mary'.
Neil Young closed the Pyramid Stage that night with his backing band The Chrome Hearts, with a career-spanning set closing with the surprise choice of anti-war anthem 'Throw Your Hatred Down'.
On Friday evening, The Searchers made their Glastonbury debut and live farewell with a stunning set that opened with 'Sweets For My Sweet' and included hits like 'Needles and Pins', 'Sugar and Spice, 'Love Potion No. 9' and many more.
