The legendary Rolling Stones frontman has recruited Dave Grohl for his latest single about his lockdown experience.
Two rock greats have joined forces this week in a surprise release of a brand-new track, ‘Easy Sleazy’.
The track was written by The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger about his take on the Covid-19 Pandemic and also features "the nicest guy in rock", Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.
Released on YouTube this week, the track was accompanied with a music video which shows both musicians rocking out in their respective studios.

Jagger provides his ever-so recognisable vocals, while the Foo Fighters frontman was enlisted to play an array of instruments.
When commenting on the track, Jagger said: “Thanks to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with him – hope you all enjoy ‘Eazy Sleazy’.”

Grohl and Jagger have collaborated previously, with the Foo Fighters acting as Jagger’s backing band on Saturday Night Live in 2012 and Grohl joining the Stones on stage in 2013.
However, this is their first single together and Grohl explained on social media how grateful he was to work with Mick: "It’s hard to put into words what recording this song with Sir Mick Jagger means to me.
"It’s beyond a dream come true. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier......and it’s the song of the summer, without a doubt!!"
In the song, Jagger adds his known wit and humour, taking on a range of subjects that have come to light over the pandemic, from conspiracy theories ("shooting the vaccine, Bill Gates is in my bloodstream”), to TikTok’s “stupid dance”.
Despite the lockdown rant, the song is full of optimism for the future.
Jagger told Rolling Stone magazine: “There seems to be, now, a light at the end of the tunnel in a lot of countries. I could see that light, so I thought I’d write a song about all the things that you’ve experienced in lockdown and now hopefully this is going to be the beginning of a bit more freedom.”
