The Rolling Stones to tour in 2027? Mick Jagger is "ready to go"

The Rolling Stones release new album Foreign Tongues this summer.

The Rolling Stones release their long-teased new album Foreign Tongues this summer and rumours of an accompanying tour have been ramping up in recent months.

There won't be an immediate jaunt, but it seems as though Mick Jagger is eager to get out on the road in support of the record.

Jagger was speaking on TODAY's Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist, where he was inevitably asked about the possibility of some upcoming live shows.

"Well, I'd love to. I really want to. And, I'm ready to go," Jagger said.

"I don't think we’re gonna do shows this year, but hopefully we'll do shows next year."

Guitarist Keith Richards has already ruled out any chance of a Rolling Stones tour in 2026.

"We can talk next year," Keith told the Associated Press last month.

"At the moment, we’re just sort of saying, we’ve finished the record… [and we're] considering what to do after. Pretty soon, but not this year."

Foreign Tongues is released on July 10, 2026 and has been preceded by the songs 'In The Stars' and 'Rough and Twisted'.
