First teased on McCartney's Instagram, as well as Sir Ringo Starr's and the official Beatles accounts, the posts appeared to make a nod towards the famous series of albums.
And it has now been confirmed that a fourth edition of the Anthology series, as well as remastered versions of the first three, will be released later this year.

Anthology 1 was released in late 1995, followed by 2 and 3 the following year.
The series also featured the first new music from the band since the death of John Lennon, with McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr working with Jeff Lynne on the tracks 'Real Love' and 'Free as a Bird'.

It also included remnants of a song called 'Now And Then' from 1978. In 2023, they were able to use AI technology to finally release it using clean Lennon vocals.
Anthology 2025 is described as the "ultimate story of The Beatles — told through a unique album collection, 25th Anniversary book, and Disney+ series".
The Anthology Collection CD and Vinyl box sets will arrive on November 21, and include remasters of the original Anthology volumes 1-3, alongside Anthology 4 — a new volume featuring unheard and rare material from Giles Martin.
The new edition will include 'Now and Then', plus new 2025 remixes by Jeff Lynne of 'Free As a Bird' and 'Real Love', along with a new 4K music video for the former.
