The cast of The Beatles movies recreate the iconic Abbey Road cover

The long awaited official Beatles movies are still over a year and a half away, but the production is now very much underway.
And fans have spotted Harris Dickinson, Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn and Barry Keoghan (aka John, Paul, George and Ringo) recreating one of the most iconic images of the Fab Four.

The four lead actors for the four-movie "cinematic event" have been spotted on the actual Abbey Road zebra crossing, doing their own version of the sleeve of Abbey Road album.
That was the last LP The Beatles recorded, though Let It Be was eventually released after it, and the fan and paparazzi images of the actors sees them in their full 1969 glory, facial hair and all.
The same fan accounts have previously shared images and videos of the actors doing their versions of other famous moments in Beatles history.
Among those scenes are American fans protesting The Beatles after John Lennon's infamous (and often misquoted and misunderstood) "bigger than Jesus" remarks and the band's groundbreaking live show at Shea Stadium.
The Beatles—A Four-Film Cinematic Event will be released in April 2028, with four films each focusing on John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
They are all being filmed back-to-back and are directed by American Beauty and Skyfall's Sam Mendes.
"The four theatrical feature films – one from each band member’s point-of-view – will intersect to tell the astonishing story of the greatest band in history," is how it was explained in the first announcement.
"The dating cadence of the films, the details of which will be shared closer to release, will be innovative and groundbreaking."
Producer Pippa Harris said: "We intend this to be a uniquely thrilling, and epic cinematic experience: four films, told from four different perspectives which tell a single story about the most celebrated band of all time."
"You have to match the boldness of the idea with a bold release strategy," Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman told The Hollywood Reporter soon after the project was announced.
"There hasn’t been an enterprise like this before, and you can’t think about it in traditional releasing terms."
Beyond our four leads, a number of major stars have been tapped to play supporting roles.
Saoirse Ronan has been cast as Linda McCartney, Mia McKenna-Bruce will play Ringo's wife Maureen Starkey, Shogun star will portray Yoko Ono, and Aimee Lou Wood is our Pattie Boyd.
House of Guinness star James Norton will play The Beatles' manager Brian Epstein, while Harry Lloyd will play George Martin.
It was later confirmed that David Morrissey will play Paul McCartney's dad Jim McCartney, Leanne Best (niece of actual Beatle Pete Best), will play John Lennon's Aunt Mimi, Bobby Schofield will play Neil Aspinall, Daniel Hoffmann-Gill will play Mal Evans, Arthur Darvill will play Derek Taylor and Adam Pally will play Allen Klein.
And Lucy Boynton will play Jane Asher, Farhan Akhtar will play Ravi Shankar, Morfydd Clark will play Cynthia Lennon and Harry Lawtey will play Stuart Sutcliffe.
