Paul McCartney has unveiled his duet with Ringo Starr โ his first proper duet with a fellow Beatle as a solo artist.
'Home to Us' is the second single for Macca's upcoming studio album The Boys of Dungeon Lane and is the second bit of nostalgia from Sir Paul, following 'Days We Left Behind'.

"Home to Us with Ringo โ๏ธ" said Sir Paul on Instagram, announcing the release.
Ringo wrote on his own page: "Home to us, peace and love. ๐โ๏ธ๐โค๏ธ๐ฅฆ๐ถ๐โฎ๏ธ"

"The place we used to live in / You could say it wasnโt much / But it was home to us" the song opens.
"I saw Ringo and said I worked with this guy Andrew [Watt]," Billboard quoted McCartney as saying of how the duet came together.
"Ringo came over to Andrewโs studio and played a little bit of drums."

McCartney sent the demo to Ringo, who thanks to a misunderstanding originally just pitched in with the chorus.
After the two had a back-and forth, Ringo added some more drums and additional vocals to make it a proper duet.
The Boys of Dungeon Lane is released on May 29.
