Billy Joel surprises fans with Joe Jonas duet on 'Uptown Girl' at BST Hyde Park
Billy Joel wows 65,000 people in London but doesn't know when he'll next be back in the UK.
Billy Joel will play at Madison Square Garden in New York for the 150th time next summer, but his visits to our shores are a little less frequent.
On Friday (July 7), the singer-songwriter wowed 65,000 fans in London when he headlined the American Express presents BST Hyde Park festival.
Joel took to the stage for a two-hour, 22-song set following supporting performances from a full bill, including Daryl Hall, Natasha Bedingfield and Rumer.
Starting the concert, Joel suggested to fans that it may be a long while yet before he returns to the UK for a live show.
"Thank you, London, England! Good to see ya," he said.
"I don't get to come here that much. And I'm not sure when this old ass is going to be back again."
Joining Billy Joel during his five-song encore was The Jonas Brothers' singer Joe Jonas, who duetted with the 74-year-old on his 1983 hit 'Uptown Girl'.
"I'm doing something really exciting today. Bucket list. Major bucket list." Jonas had teased on Instagram earlier.
"Quite nervous. But the person I sang with is incredible and made me feel very comfortable."
