Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band reveal the preparations of Bruce's 2023-2024 world tour, including rehearsals, planning, backstage chatter, and on-stage clips.
It's directed by Thom Zimny, who has previously collaborated with Springsteen on both Western Stars and Springsteen On Broadway.
The documentary's accompanying press release notes that "conversations follow Springsteen closely as he develops the story he wants to tell with this tour’s set list - interspersed with rare archival clips of the E Street Band, underscoring themes of life, loss, mortality and community."
It's set for release just days before 'The Boss' resumes his global tour with a new leg in North America having blown away the UK and Europe this summer just gone.
But if you missed Bruce in action, never fear - it seems like he'll be plowing away with concerts for the foreseeable future.
Even though he recently celebrated his 75th birthday, and has suffered from bouts of ill health of late, the 'Born In The USA' legend batted away rumours of retirement.
"We’ve been around for fifty f*ckin’ years, and we ain’t quitting! We ain’t doing no farewell tour bullsh*t!" the blue-collar rocker exclaimed at a recent concert in Philadelphia.
"Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band!" Adding: "Farewell to what? A thousand people screaming your name? Get the hell out. I ain’t going anywhere!"
