The Damned announce Final Damnation UK tour: Venues, dates and how to buy tickets

The Damned have announced a very special tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Following their triumphant comeback gig at Wembley Arena this month, the punk and goth icons have announced seven shows in England this winter.

Tickets for the Final Damnation 50 UK Tour go on sale this Friday, May 1 at 10am via AEG.

The current lineup of The Damned features Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, Paul Gray, Monty Oxymoron

Vanian, Sensible and Scabies were the founding members of the band alongside guitarist Brian James, who died in 2025. Paul Gray first joined the group in 1980, while Monty Oxymoron joined in 1996.

"Half a century on and who’d have thought we would still be upright and breathing?" said Rat Scabies.

"We never thought we’d make it this far and neither did you! But here we are, a finely tuned engine.

"The Damned still has the power and finesse to excite, entertain and accelerate into our 50th year."

Captain Sensible added: "With 50 years of catalogue to choose from, only the best songs from our chequered history will be performed, and with the passion and commitment all good music lovers deserve.

"You know we won’t disappoint."

The group are supported on the jaunt by The Saints ’73-’78, who will play songs from their first three albums.

The Saints ’73-’78 features not just original guitarist Ed Kuepper and drummer Ivor Hay, but an all-star cast of Bad Seed Mick Harvey, Dirty Three's Jim White and Mudhoney's Mark Arm on vocals.
