With John Lennon and Paul McCartney dominating, George Harrison was limited to writing just 22 songs for The Beatles.
But in the years immediately after the break up, he emerged as a real solo star with his stunning triple album All Things Must Pass.

George scored proper pop hits with 'My Sweet Lord' and 'Bangla Desh', and earned his second US number one in 1973 with 'Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)', the lead single from his Living in the Material World album.
But while The Beatles had dabbled with music videos with 'Rain', 'Paperback Writer' and other promos a few years earlier, it wasn't a given back then that every single would get a music video - even if it was from one of the Fab Four.
Now, over half a century after its original release, 'Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)' has finally got a proper music video, and it's a real cracker.

The promo has been directed by Finn Wolfhard, who's probably best known for playing Mike in record-breaking Netflix period horror Stranger Things.
He's far from the only talent behind the camera for the film, which has a massive list of animators, art directors, puppet sculptors and 3D modellers.
That's because the video is a gorgeous old school stop-motion film taking in a surreal day in the life of George.

Its executive producers were David Zonshine and George's son Dhani Harrison.
Together with his mum (and George's widower) Olivia, Dhani has also overseen the recently released 50th anniversary reissues of Living in the Material World.
Producer Paul Hicks went back to the original tapes to remix the album, which is available in several physical and digital formats.
