After their successful comeback, Haircut 100 are FINALLY releasing their third studio album.
Haircut 100 burned short but bright for their original existence in the 1980s, releasing just two albums before breaking up
They split after Paint and Paint failed to chart in 1984, and after some successful live reunions over the years they have finally announced a third studio album.
The reunited band are building on the success of last year's one-off single 'The Unloving Plum' with the album Boxing The Compass, which is due for release on March 20, 2026.
The album is trailed by the release of new single 'Dynamite', which is available to stream now.
The current lineup of Haircut 100 features founding members Nick Heyward, Les Nemes and Graham Jones, as well as drummer Blair Cunningham, who has been an ever-present in the group since 1981, a year before they released their Platinum-selling debut album Pelican West.
Dynamite
Nick Heyward said "Boxing the Compass is the traditional way of finding out where you are on land or sea using the compass rose. We're arriving back at the port we left 43 years ago with a log of songs from our personal travels.
"Wherever I've been in the world, I've always been Nick Heyward of Haircut 100 and we’re all ready to set sail again for more adventures on the high seas."
He added of the new single: "'Dynamite' is about the day and the night and meeting via satellite.
"Whether it's your soul mate, long-lost family members, future friends, or your people. It’s about communication and how explosive it can be. It really is dynamite."
