The show must go on for Jeff Lynne's ELO.
Jeff Lynne's ELO are currently on their farewell tour and have just played a show in their native Birmingham.
But unlike most concerts he's fronted in the past 60 plus years, Jeff wasn't playing guitar at the Utilita Arena on Saturday (July 5).
"I've had a guitar in my hand all my life but not tonight. I was riding in a taxi in London that slammed on its brake to avoid an accident and I broke my hand," Lynne told the crowd to a chorus of awwws.
"That's why I can't play guitar today... but nothing could keep me from you today."

The show went on, and Jeff Lynne played a hits-packed set at his homecoming concert.
Despite Lynne's unfortunate injury it was a very special set, opening with late era track 'One More Time' before a run through classic era Electric Light Orchestra hits, 'Do Ya' by ELO precursor The Move and, in the middle of the show, a very special guest appearance.
Joining Lynne and the band for back-to-back performances of The Traveling Wilburys' 'Handle With Care' and 'End of the Line' was Dhani Harrison.

Dhani is of course the only child of Beatles legend George Harrison, who was a member of the Wilburys alongside Lynne, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty.
Jeff Lynne's ELO continued their farewell Over and Out Tour with another show at the Utilita Arena the following night, and will play Co-op Live in Manchester on July 9 and July 10, before their last ever concert at London's Hyde Park on Sunday, July 13.
