The Manfreds have announced an absolutely massive 30-date UK tour this October and November.

The band, who were born from the original members of the 1960s chart-topping band Manfred Mann, grabbed plenty of attention over the summer when they played a stellar set at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

Joining original members Paul Jones (vocals, harmonica) and Tom McGuinness (guitar, vocals) are Marcus Cliffe (bass), Simon Currie (saxophone), Pete Riley (drums), and Mike Gorman (keyboards).

Also joining the group on this jaunt is singer Noel McCalla, who performed in Manfred Mann's Earth Band from 1991 to 2010.

Tickets are on sale now via myticket.co.uk.

Paul Jones said: "I'm eagerly anticipating another great tour - not only with the magnificent Manfreds, but also with the marvellous Mister McCalla."

Tom McGuiness added: "Really looking forward to being back-on-the-road again and to making the musical acquaintance of Noel McCalla."

Manfred Mann's biggest hits included songs like '5-4-3-2-1', 'Do Wah Diddy Diddy', 'Sha La La', 'Come Tomorrow', 'If You Gotta Go, Go Now'. 'Pretty Flamingo' and 'Mighty Quinn'.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band's topped the US charts with a cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Blinded By The Light'
