As Edwyn Collins winds up his live career, he has an emotional on-stage reunion with his old pals.
While they were only together for a few short years in the 1980s, Orange Juice were one of the great indie bands of the era.
Fronted by Edwyn Collins, the group released the albums You Can't Hide Your Love Forever, Rip It Up and Texas Fever before calling it a day in 1985 after a final live performance at a miners' benefit show at Brixton Academy on January 19 of that year.
Edwyn went on to have a strong solo career, including the massive 1990s hit 'A Girl Like You' and a stunning 2007 comeback with the album Home Again after he suffered two brain haemorrhages.
In recent years especially, he has peppered his sets with Orange Juice tracks alongside his solo material, but fans at Edwyn's last ever Glasgow show ahead of his live retirement got a special treat.
Orange Juice members James Kirk (guitar) and Steven Daly (drums) joined Collins on stage for a run through a final encore of 'Felicity' and 'Blue Boy'.

Unfortunately bass player David McClymont is based in Australia and wasn't at the show.
"To hear Blueboy and Felicity played by James and Steven with me in Glasgow," said Edwyn on Instagram after the show.
"Just like this. First time together onstage in 44 years. Emotional 👏👏"
Edwyn is currently on what is being billed as The Testimonial Tour 2025 - A Last Lap Around The UK, which includes a show at the Royal Festival Hall in London on October 4 and ends at The Boiler Shop in Newcastle on October 8.
Collins released his tenth solo album Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation in March of this year, his first since 2019's Badbea.
It was preceded by the single 'Knowledge'.
