Phil Collins says he's at "A1, 100%" health and teases the possibility of new music

Phil Collins has been in poor health for several years and recently revealed that his condition was actually worse than many fans may have feared.
The Genesis drummer turned frontman turned solo superstar has opened up on how his struggles with alcohol left his organs seizing up with his family thinking that he might not survive.

But he's now not just reported being happily sober for three years, but also said that he's completely healthy.
The singer-songwriter has gone even further than that. He's hinted at the possibility of releasing some new music.
Phil's last album release was 2010's covers album Going Back. His last release of new music was his work on the Brother Bear soundtrack in 2003, and his last album of new material was the previous year's Testify.
"Um, I'm never gonna say no now," Collins told Prog of the possibility of a return to music.
"I've got my little studio still, and I’d like to get down there and just mess about and see what happens.
"There are some things I could finish. And other things which are finished. So, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility."
He added of his return to health: "Physically, now, I reckon I’m A1, 100%. I’ve worked at it.

"Haven’t drunk for three years. I do physio three times a week, to bring me up to speed. All is good!"
Of his previous struggles, Collins said: "I went through some pretty dark times.
"I was never 'falling over' drunk. That wasn’t it. It was just drinking 'normally', as one would drink water.
"I'd wake up, have a glass of wine. Watch TV, read a book, have a glass of wine. And suddenly… Some people's insides can't take it. Mine broke down."
