"You asked. We answered."
A year ago Dave Hill's Slade announced their regular Christmas tour, but there was a major twist.
The band's 2025 shows were heavily billed as The Final Tour. While Dave Hill wasn't ruling out any future live shows as Slade, he was adamant that this would be their final full length jaunt.
Well, it seems that wasn't quite the case.
It turns out that Slade's fans weren't quite willing to say goodbye to their annual fix, so Dave Hill has decided to go round (at least) one more time again.
That's right, the band have announced a Christmas tour for 2026, revisiting many of the same venues from their "final tour" last year.
Tickets for Dave Hill's Slade Merry Xmas Everybody 2026 tour go on sale this Friday, May 22 at 10am via all usual outlets.
The full tour dates are as follows:
Dave Hill from Slade Explains and Plays Chords of Merry Xmas Everybody
Slade, are made up of sole original member Dave Hill with newer members John Berry, Russell Keefe and Alex Bines
The main songwriting duo of Holder and Lea left the band in 1992, while Powell was controversially forced from the lineup in 2020.
There have been persistent murmurs of some sort of reunion, but Hill has repeatedly shut down the possibility of even a one-off show.
