It's Chriiiiiiiiistmas... for the very last time.
Dave Hill's Slade have announced their annual Christmas tour, with a very big difference.
The group's UK jaunt this December will be their last ever it seems, as the official poster reads Dave Hill's Slade: The Final Tour.
Slade, now made up of sole original member Dave Hill with John Berry, Russell Keefe and Alex Bines, usually go on the road around the holidays to celebrate 'Merry Xmas Everybody' and their other hits.
They sat out 2024 as Hill underwent cataract surgery but will be back one last time this year, with eight dates confirmed and further shows promised.
"Our Final UK Christmas Tour - Tickets on sale Friday 2nd May @ 10am," read the tour announcement. "More Dates to follow..."
Slade's final tour dates are as follows:
The original Slade lineup of Noddy Holder, Jim Lea, Dave Hill and Don Powell are being celebrated this month with the long-awaited cinema re-release and DVD/Blu-ray launch of classic movie Slade in Flame.
Main songwriting duo Holder and Lea left the band in 1992, while Powell was controversially forced from the lineup in 2020.
There have been recent murmurs of some sort of reunion, but Hill recently shut down the possibility of even a one-off show.
