UB40 featuring Ali Campbell announces new UK tour: Dates, venues and how to buy tickets

Ali Campbell's version of UB40 are going out on the road once more.

UB40, as all fans know, exist in two forms these days.
On one side you've got a band featuring original members Jimmy Brown, Robin Campbell, Earl Falconer and Norman Lamont Hassan, who have all been in the group since 1978, alongside a shifting cast of newer members, including current singer Matt Doyle.

On the other side you've got the group led by fellow founding member Ali Campbell, who was the singer and guitarist in UB40 until a bad-tempered departure in 2008.
He went on to front UB40 Reunited, later changing their name to UB40 featuring Ali, Astro, and Mickey, as that lineup featured fellow long-term UB40 members Mickey Virtue on keyboards and Astro on toasting, percussion and trumpet.
Virtue left this band in 2018 and the group continued as UB40 featuring Ali Campbell and Astro, and then, following Astro's death in 2021, as UB40 featuring Ali Campbell.

And UB40 featuring Ali Campbell are still a going concern, with the group playing a clutch of shows in Australia in January and announcing a series of Forest Live gigs for summer 2026.
"When I first founded UB40 back in 1978, I put everything I had into it – including the compensation money I'd received from a criminal injury claim," Campbell said.
"None of us could have imagined we'd go on to sell over 100 million records and take reggae from Birmingham to the world.

"It's been an incredible journey, and coming back to play Forest Live in such beautiful surroundings is the perfect way to celebrate with our fans."
The full 2026 UK tour dates are as follows:
- June 19 - Delamere Forest
- June 21 - High Lodge, Thetford Forest
- June 25 - Westonbirt Arboretum
- June 27 - Cannock Chase Forest
