Van Morrison celebrated his 80th birthday last year but has shown little sign of looking to hang up his microphone any time soon.

The legendary singer-songwriter has kept on touring regularly, playing not just prestigious festival shows but also more intimate indoor concerts.

And this autumn he's treating UK fans to a five-night residency at one of the capital's newest venues, as well as a full 10-date UK tour.

Van Morrison plays what will be the first residency at the British Airways ARC venue at Olympia, London, which opens its doors to the public next month.,

He'll play fully seated shows on September 23, 24, 27, 28 and 29. Tickets for those shows were available via ticketline or direct from the venue have now sold out.

  • October 11 – Swansea, Swansea Arena
  • October 12 – Bristol, Bristol Beacon
  • October 27 – Plymouth, Plymouth Arena
  • October 28 – Torquay, Princess Theatre
  • October 30 & 31 – Brighton, Brighton Dome
  • November 2 – Glasgow, Royal Concert Hall
  • November 3 – Edinburgh, Usher Hall

As well as his continuing success as a live performer, Van Morrison has been incredibly active in the studio of late.

He released his 48th studio album Somebody Tried to Sell Me a Bridge, in January 2026 – a mix of blues classics and sprinkling of originals – while last year's Remembering Now featured 14 newly written songs.
